Historical Society of Pottawattamie County - Site Merge and Redesign
This website is currently in progress. As a freelance project for a non-profit organization, I will be combining two existing sites into one and giving the overall branding and online presence a makeover. This redesign includes implementing a sense of consistency between pages and ensuring mobile responsiveness on all pages. The above image is a screenshot from Figma, where initial design was proposed. HTML, CSS, and Javascript will be used to execute the design. Currently, this project is in the info gathering phase where I am collecting feedback on the current websites from the Board of Directors and working to agree on the design direction for this build.

Bushel, Inc - Website Admin Dashboard
This project took a chaotic list of tools and organized them into task-based sections that are clearly defined and easily recognizable, helping to streamline work-flow. The images in each section also provide context to the tasks in each section, allowing the eye to easily find the needed tools to get the job done. This design also features a slideout menu in the upper left corner, allowing users to easily navigate to other pages, a "What's New" blog style feature to keep users in-the-loop about updates and changes, as well as a "Help" section complete with documentation topics allowing users to self-assist on simple questions. Images created in Adobe Illustrator. Layout created using HTML, CSS, and Javascript/jQuery. Back end is dynamically generated based on selected tools and components and admin permission levels using VB.Net.

biBERK Calculator Concept
This project is a sample of how I would approach customer retention on lengthy forms. As a consumer, I am much more likely to complete a task when I know how much time and attention is needed. Using visual indicators of progress is a sure-fire way to let the end user know how far they've come and how much further they need to go! Another key to this concept is intuitively grouping information into digestible sections. Questions of a similar nature should always be grouped together, especially if they are relevant to the results of the form. In this case, I did move a few fields around and changed a few labels that go along with the data fields. In some cases, the phrasing was confusing, so rephrasing the verbiage will keep the customer as comfortable and confident as possible when answering the questions. Confidence builds trust and loyalty, which I feel are an invaluable part of a good service page.
